This Content Policy governs all user-submitted content on 7 Days to Die Mods, including mods, descriptions, images, and comments. By uploading content, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Allowed Content

We welcome mods that:

  • Enhance, modify, or extend 7 Days to Die gameplay
  • Are original work or properly attributed derivatives with permission
  • Include accurate descriptions of what the mod does
  • Are tested and functional for the game versions listed

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

Malicious Software

  • Malware, viruses, trojans, or any code designed to harm users' systems
  • Cryptocurrency miners or other resource-hijacking software
  • Keyloggers, spyware, or data-harvesting tools
  • Exploits that target the game's multiplayer servers or other players

Intellectual Property Violations

  • Content copied from other mod authors without permission
  • Assets ripped from other games or copyrighted sources without authorization
  • Re-uploads of existing mods without the original author's consent

Harmful or Inappropriate Content

  • Content that promotes hate, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups
  • Sexually explicit content or content sexualizing minors
  • Content that promotes illegal activities
  • Spam, advertising, or content unrelated to 7 Days to Die modding

Deceptive Content

  • Misleading descriptions that do not accurately represent what the mod does
  • Fake download links or redirects to external sites
  • Impersonation of other mod authors or official entities

3. Mod Descriptions and Media

All mod listings must:

  • Clearly describe what the mod does and how to install it
  • List accurate game version compatibility
  • Use thumbnails and screenshots that represent the actual mod
  • Credit any third-party assets or collaborators

4. Enforcement

We review all submitted content before it is published. Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Removal of the offending content
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of your account
  • Reporting to relevant authorities if illegal activity is suspected

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it using the report button on the mod page or contact us at our contact page. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Content Policy as needed. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
